Document Description
The applicant proposes to construct an Amerisuites Hotel consisting of 4 stories with separate building pads to accommodate a restaurant, gas station and possible future conference center. The 6.8 acre site is commonly known as the "Carone Loop Site" which was studied as part of the Hercules General Plan Update EIR. The project site is designated as "General Commercial" by both the Hercules General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. The proposed use is consistent with both. However, the General Plan Update EIR identified several areas of concern which are outlined below.
