Document Description
The majority of the project site was previously addressed in Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) 1278 for the EOGP. The project is currently designated on the Land Use Element (LUE) of the EOGP for public facility, mixed use, employment, low medium density residential, medium density residential, and open space. The project would amend the (LUE) to permit general commercial, low density residential, low-medium density residential, medium density residential, and open space. The study area would be zoned Planned Community (PC). Because of the limited nature of the project, some provisions of the EOGP would not pertain to the Santiago Hills II area. Table 1 provides a comparison of the existing General Plan designations and the proposed General Plan designations. The existing and proposed land use designations are graphically depicted in Exhibits 3 and 4, respectively.
