Under Application 29998, the project applicant proposes to construct an on-stream reservoir on a seasonal, Unnamed Stream for the direct diversion and storage of up to 30 acre-feet per annum (afa). Project activities include the removal of vegetation, excavation of soil, construction of an earthfill dam, installation of water control pipes and structures and land preparation, cultivation, and planting of wine grapes. The purpose of this project is to provide water for frost control and irrigation of up to 30 acres of vineyard in addition to recreational and fire protection uses.
