Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number R2-2001-206 pursuant to section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant. This agreement pertains to construction of a box culvert road crossing and modification to Whitehouse Creek to accommodate expected flood flows. Whitehouse Creek will be widened and deepened to meet Sacramento County flood conveyance requirements, temporarily effecting 0.821 acre of marsh habitat and permanently effecting 0.031 acre of marsh habitat. Mitigation for wetlands impacts, pursuant to Federal permit requirements, includes monetary compensation to the County Wetlands Restoration Trust Fund.
