Document Description
The project involves the rezoning of the Bridgeport and Walker landfill sites from General Purpose (GP) to Public Agency (PA). The result of this project will be zoning designation which is consistent with the General Plan designation, which accurately reflects the current uses on-site, and which permits the current use supporting documents also evaluate potential environmental impacts resulting from an update of solid waste facility permit for each project site. Revised permit will be prepared to bring permit conditions current with state solid waste regulations, facility design, and operational practices. The project does not involve any change in use or lateral expansion in use beyond the existing waste footprints at each site.
