Document Description
Construction of an earthen berm dam and 27 acre-foot water storage reservoir on a tributary to Porter Creek located 0.5 miles south of the eintersection of Petrified Forest Road and Sharp Road in Sonoma County. The project includes a spillway and placement of rock rip-rap to dissipate energy at the spillway discharge. The design also includes by pass structures to allow a portion of the reservoir to pass through the dam during filling. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1305 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game code to the project operator, Douglas Grigg, Napa Valley Vineyard Engineering.
