Replacement of existing bridge over the Santa Ana River.
Document Description
River Road Bridge crosses the Santa Ana River upstream from Prado Dam and north of the cities of Corona and Norco, in northwestern Riverside County. The County of Riverside, in cooperation with Caltrans and the Federal Highway Administration, propose to replace the existing bridge which is functionally obsolete and structurally deficient. The new bridge will be 800 feet in length and provide for four lanes of traffic, shoulders, and a multipurpose trail. The approach roads leading to the bridge would each be 1200 feet long. The new bridge would meet current hydraulic, traffic and seismic design standards.
