The project amends and supersedes the Redevelopment Plan for the Existing Project Area. In addition to increasing the size of the Existing Project Area by 1280 acres, the amendment will extend the Redevelopment Agency's use of eminent domain, debt issuance, clarify the limit on the amount of tax increment that may be received from the Existing Project Area, delete two parcels from the Area, and expand the list of public improvements. No specific development and/or redevelopment projects are proposed in this action.
