Document Description
The final closure of Phase IIB will entail the construction of a finala cover over the Phase IIB landfill surface in accordance with minimum requirements set forth in Title 27, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Section 21090(a). The proposed closure construction activities, which will be implemented in the Summer of 2000, will encompass approx. 23 acres. Phase IIB has essentially reached capacity. Two (2) feet of compacted foundation layer material has been placed over the refuse and will be incorporated into the final cover design.
