Document Description
The Permittee proposes to construct a new bridge over the existing bridge to preserve bat roosting habitat and a as a historic resource. The new bridge surface will be 10-feet higher, 120-feet long and 35.5-feet wide. The bridge will consists of pre-stressed concrete bulb tee girders and the abutments will be comprised of CIDH piles or spread footings, located outside the existing abutments and outside the banks. Construction will occur in two phases, to allow one lane of traffic at all times. No demolition or debris recovery would be required. No diversion is proposed, nor will any heavy equipment be used within the creek.
