Document Description
A revision to an Site Plan Review SPR-91-034 to revise the operations and increase capacity, hours of operation and equipment of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and transfer station. Maximum tonnage of material processed is proposed to be increased fro m 200 tons per day to 600 tons per day (TPD) and the operating hours are proposed to be increased from 8 a.m. to 5 p. m., five days a week to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The applicant also requests that waste receiving be increased from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday to 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. The projected increase in capacity will require installation of eight additional walking floor transfer trailers, two truck tractors and additional work shifts to provide around the clock operations. Attainment of the proposed maximum capacity would result in a maximum of 86 collection truck trips per day, 21 transfer truck tips per day, and 7 recyclable truck trips per day. In addition, a maximum of 80 employee trips per day and an estimated 30 visitor vehicle trips per day would be anticipated when the facility reaches its maximum 600 tons per day capacity.
