Document Description
The proposed project includes construction of a new east/west, six-lane (three lanes in each direction) Gene Autry Way (West) Highway from Haster Street to a point approximately 200 meters (700) feet west of I-5, a distance of 400 meters (1,300 feet). Haster street would be widened to provide an additional through lane in each direction and realigned to accommodate additional traffic from Gene Autry Way (West). The project limits on Haster Street would extend from just south of Katella Avenue on the north to a point approximately 120 meters (390 feet) north of Orangewood Avenue on the south. There are nine alignment alternatives under consideration by the city. The proposed alternatives would require right-of-way and the displacement of existing land uses including mobile homes and apartment buildings.
