Document Description
The proposed project entails the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for the Guasti Redevelopment Project Area in accordance with the standards of the California Community Redevelopment Law (CRL), Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq. The purpose of the Redevelopment Plan is to eliminate the conditions of physical blight that exist in the Project Area through revitalization and reuse of commercial, industrial and properties and preservation of the existing Guasti Winery. The total Project Area includes 19 parcels and encompasses 180 acres. The project conforms to the General Plan and the adopted Guasti Specific Plan. For the purpose of environmental analysis, buildout of the Project Area totaled a net increases of approximately 1.7 million square feet of commercial space, 2.6 million square feet of office space and a net decrease of 303,100 square feet industrial space.
