Document Description
The project is a set of near and long-term roadway improvements. Major near-term components include: widen Power Inn Road to 6 lanes between the American River to 14th Ave; widen U.S. 50 on-ramps, optimize traffic signals in project area, restripe Hornet Dr to add second northbound left turn lane; modify westbound Hornet Dr./U.S. 50 onramp; relocate existing PG & E towers on east side of Power Inn Rd; and add turn lanes on Power Inn Rd to Cucamonga Ave, Ramona Ave, and 14th Ave. Major long-term components include: widen Folsom Blvd to four lanes between U.S. 50 to 67th St; reconstruct Union Pacific Railroad; extend Ramona and 4th Aves to Folsom Blvd; extend 14th Ave to S. Watt Ave and realign State Route 16 to the new 14th Ave.
