Document Description
The NOP for the Master EIR update was originally circulated on August 13, 1999. Since that time, development of the traffic model for the MEIR has resulted in the need for additional amendments to the general plan that were not stated in the original NOP. The City now proposes to consider the following additional amendments to its General Plan under the Master EIR update: 1) changes to employment figures for certain Comprehensive Planning Districts (CPDs) based on proposed traffic model factors, and 2) amendments to the Salida Comprehensive Planning District to be consistent with the Salida Community Plan update, as contained in the Stanislaus County General Plan. The present NOP augments the 1999 NOP to include the proposed General Plan Amendments. Otherwise, there has been no substantive change to the scope of the project addressed in the 1999 NOP.
