This area is the western portion of Site 2 at the Mole Pier in Naval Station-San Diego. The excavated soil will be transported to an appropriate disposal facility. The sidewalls and floors of the excavated areas will be sampled and the samples will be analyzed to confirm that the clean-up level has been met. The excavated areas will be backfilled with clean fill material.
