Metropolitan is proposing minor modifications to its adopted Improvements Project for the Diemer Plant, which include construction schedule changes, use of alternative water treatment technologies, minor facilities modifications or additions, and the relocations of some planned and/or existing facilities. These project modifications are necessary to ensure that the Diemer Plant meets current and future water quality treatment standards; increases its residuals (solids) processing capabilities; and ensures Plant safety and reliability.
