Document Description
Previously, the Semitropic Groundwater Banking Project was evaluated in an EIR in 1994, and the Stored Water Recovery Project component of the Semitropic Groundwater Banking Project was evaluated in a SEIR in 2000. Clarifications and revisions to the SWRU have been evaluated in five separate, subsequent CEQA addendums. The subject project, evaluated in a Sixth addendum to the SEIR, would revise the SWRU to add an alternative configuration to the well field evaluated in the SEIR. Such well field alternative would increase spatial distribution of the well field wells without increasing the total number of wells, and reduce overall pumping density. Existing EIR and SEIR groundwater impact mitigation measures would apply to the well field alternative.
