Document Description
The tennant/Murphy site is bounded by Tennant Avenue on the south, Murphy Avenue on the west and Barrett Avenue on the north. Private land abuts the site to the east. The site is approximately one-quarter mile east of U.S. Highway 101, and is comprised of five assessor's parcels totaling 75.92 acres, all located in unincorporated Santa Clara County. None of the parcels are under a Williamson Act contract. Approximately 12.3 acres are in orchards, and approximately 39.7 acres are in field crops. Greenhouses and related offices occupy approximately 13.3 acres and approximately 5.9 acres are used for growing container plants. There are four residences (some with associated agricultural buildings) occupying approximately 4.7 acres.
