Master Case 96-072 proposes the following: annexation of 176 acres into the City of Santa Clarita, the prezone of the site from the existing Los Angeles County A-2-1 (Heavy Agriculture, one acre minimum lot site) to City of Santa Clarita Zoning of RS (Residential Suburban, 3.4 to 6.6 units per acre) and RE (Residential Estate, 0.5 units per acre); the Vesting Tentative Tract Map 49621 to subdivide approximately 176 acres into 350 single family residential lots and seven open space lots; the Hillside Review to allow for development on slopes in excess of ten percent, development on a mapped primary and secondary ridgeline and a request to be considered an innovative project; and a Conditional Use Permit to implement the Hillside Ordinance.
