Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA #5-151-00) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, San Diego County Water Authority. The applicant proposes to alter streambeds to install the Moreno-Lakeside Pipeline, consisting of 9,400 linear feet of 51-inch to 60-inch diameter raw-water pipeline, and appurtenances thereto; said pipeline is to commence at a point 1000 feet north west of the intersection of Moreno Avenue and Vigilante Road and terminate at the Helix Water District's Levy Water Treatment Plant, adjacent to Lake Jennings parkway in Lakeside, San Diego County. The project shall impact jurisdictional streams in eleven locations, impacting 1,063 square feet of southern cottonwood-willow riparian forest, 9,160 square feet of southern willow scrub, 10,480 square feet of mulefat scrub, and 2,637 square feet of unvegetated stream channel.
