DTSC has approved of a Hazardous Waste Facility Permit Modification (Permit Modification) for the Asbury Environmental Services, dba World Oil Environmental Services Facility (WOES Facility) as authorized by the CA Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The WOES Facility is a storage and transfer facility for used oil, used antifreeze, oily water and oily solids, located in the City of Chico, CA and operates under a current standardized permit. Their current permit expires April 19, 2019. The WOES Permit Modification would authorize Tank 1 (10,000 gallons) to store used antifreeze in addition to the currently permitted used oil waste stream. There will be no physical changes to the tank.
