Document Description
The Susanville Community Development Agency (the "Agency") is proposing the creation of the Susanville Redevelopment Project (the "Project"). Within the area proposed to be included in the Project (the "Project Area") the Agency is proposing to implement projects and programs designed to: 1) upgrade existing and/or build new public works; 2) increase, improve and preserve the community's supply of very low-, low- and moderate-income housing; 3) encourage and promote economic development in the Project Area and the City of Susanville (the "City") generally; and, 4) build new and/or upgrade existing community facilities. The Agency proposes to implement these projects and programs over the 30-year effective life of the Redevelopment Plan (the "Redevelopment Plan" or the "Plan") drafted for the Susanville Redevelopment Project. The Project Area consists of approximately 957 acres located throughout the City.
