Document Description
The CDFG is executing a Lake and SAA (#2000-0427) pursuant to Section 1601 of the FGC to the project applicant, Kenneth H. Johanson, Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. The applicant proposes: A flood protection project along a 6.9 mile stretch of the Napa River and 0.7 miles of Napa Creek primarily within the city limits of Napa. The project provides 100 year level of flood protection by reconnecting the Napa River to its historic floodplain, restoring fish and wildlife habitat, and retaining the natural characteristics of the river.
