Document Description
The proposal is for a Major Use Permit to allow the construction and operation of a wastewater treatment facility to serve the proposed and adjacent Orchard Run Subdivision. The Orchard Run Specific Plan (SP-95-004) and Tentative Map (TM 5087) were approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 17, 1998. The proposed WTP will be located on a previously designated 5.8 acre site in the northern portion of the Specific Plan, immediately north of Moosa Creek. The pant will receive water service from the Valley Center Municipal Water District. Access to the project site will be off a private road through the proposed Orchard Run subdivision. The WTP will provide water treatment and storage of treated wastewater for the Orchard Run Residential Subdivision and will be operated by the Valley Center Municipal Water District. The plant will be designed with an average tertiary treatment capacity of 77,000 gallons per day and a peak treatment capacity of 300,000 gallons per day.
