THE PROPOSED BASIN SITE IS DESIGNATED FOR AGRICULTURAL USE IN THE FRESNO COUNTY GENERAL PLAN AND AS A STORMWATER RETENTION BASIN IN THE CLOVIS GENERAL PLAN. THE PROPOSED PROJECT WOULD CHANGE THE LAND USE OF THE BASIN SITE FROM AGRICULTUAL USE TO STORMWATER MAGNAGEMENT/ OPEN SPACE. THIS IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE COUNTY'S AGRICULTUAL LAND USE DESIGNATION. DRAINAGE AREA 'DO' IS GENERALLY DESIGNATED FOR AGRICULTURAL USE IN THE FRESNO COUNTY GENERAL PLAN AND FOR VARIOUS URBAN USES (PRIMARY RESIDENTIAL) IN THE CLOVIS
