Document Description
A DEIR was circulated for a 90-day public lands with a Solid Waste Facilities (SWF) designator. Gregory Canyon Landfill project which includes the construction and operation of a new Class III municipal solid waste landfill. Main features of the project consist of an access road and bridge, ancillary facilities, footprint excavation/liner system, borrow/stockpile areas, drainage and erosion control, widening of SR-76 at the proposed access road, SDG&E transmission line relocation, and an option to relocate the San Diego County Water Authority Pipeline 1 and 2. A revised DEIR has been prepared which includes the following additional project components: inclusion of a reverse osmosis system, increase the bridge length, operational change in the use of the smaller borrow/stockpile area, engineered protection of the existing aqueduct, location of monitoring wells/probes.
