Granite Construction Company (Granite) and Teichert Land Company (Teichert) filed petitions for change of its water right Licenses 5296 and 4678 (Granite and Teichert, respectively) with the Division of Water Rights, seeking to change the place of use, point of diversion, and add a purpose of use. The new point of diversion will be approximately 2.5 miles and 2 miles (Granite and Teichert, respectively) upstream of the existing point of diversion on Morrison Creek. The new place of use will be approximately 54 acres with Sections 21 and 22, T8N, R6E, MDB&M for irrigation, stockwatering (License 4678 only), and fish and wildlife preservation and enhancement purposes.
