The proposed project is a comprehensive update to the City of Ripon General Plan 2035. The existing document covered a planning horizon of 37 years from 1998 to 2035. The proposed project is an update that adjusts that timeframe by extending the planning horizon to 2040 to address community and policy changes that have occurred since adoption of the previous plan. The update includes changes to the principal elements of the general plan.
