Document Description
The Garcia River Watershed Water Quality Attainment Action Plan for Sediment (Action Plan) is a Basin Plan amendment that establishes a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) under 40 CFR 130.2 and 130.7. The Action Plan also revises the Basin Plan's waste discharge prohibitions for sediment in the Garcia River watershed and details an implementation plan, which describes means of compliance with the prohibitions, and a monitoring plan, which describes the means by which achievement of the prohibitions and the TMDL will be measured. The Action Plan was previously approved by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board and State Water Resources Control Board on May 28, 1998 and December 10, 1998, respectively.
