Document Description
The proposed development plan includes modifications to the Final Deevlopment Plan and Development Agreement Amendment approved by the City in 1999. The new SEIR will address only the differences between the proposed development plan and the development plan described in the 1999 Final Development Plan. The proposed development plan includes the aboveground re-routing of the 115 kV Moraga-Claremont power line that currently crosses the project site in a generally east-west alignment to a generally north-south alignment. Based on its initial review of the proposed development plan, the City has determined that the proposed aboveground re-routing of the power line will result in significant new visual impacts that connot be avoided. Based on this initial finding, the City has determined that preparation of a second supplemental EIR (new SEIR) is required pursuant to Section 15163 of the CEQA Guidelines.
