Document Description
The proposed Windsor Cumulative Drainage Impact Mitigation Program Update is a program of flood control measures intended to mitigate cumulative drainage impacts resulting from development in the Windsor Planning Area. The proposed project is an update of the existing drainage program that was established in 1992. Proposed flood control measures would reduce flood hazards by providing facilities (e.g., bypass channels and conduits and dentention basins) to carry and store flood waters to reduce the likelihood of creeks from overflowing their banks, and by acquiring overflow easements in area with little or no development.
