Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (R3-2001-0574) pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Eric Horton/Republic Services Vasco Landfill LLC. As a result of moving the landfill operation into the back Canyon Area, approximately 2.027 acres of waters including 2 ephemeral to intermittent drainages and one 0.905 acre detention pond will be permanently filled. The project is located in the Back Canyon Area, approximately 5 miles north of Livermore and east of Vasco Road in Alameda County.
