Los Angeles Unified School District staff determined that entering into a land swap agreement with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks to jointly use the adjacent parcels currently developed by Avalon-San Pedro Park would better serve the community, while achieving the educational objectives of the school. No additional buildings or related facilities would be included in the revised project.
