Document Description
The Project is limited to the routine maintenance of four of the six lakes present in the park. Routine maintenance activities will occur at Coyote, Alamo, Horseshoe, and Nature Center Lake South. Routine maintenance activities will be performed between September 1 and January 31 to trim a maximum of 3.47 acres or 5,000 linear feet worth of emergent vegetation each season. Once vegetation has been trimmed from an area, it shall be allowed two years to grow back before it can once again be
trimmed. These routine maintenance activities will allow water to flow freely between the lakes in El Dorado Regional Park and will result in prevention of harmful algal blooms, access to the lakes for vector control to address issues with insects
and other potential vectors for disease, and an increase in recreational use and public enjoyment of the park.

vegetation each year so that habitat is maintained.
