Caltrans proposes to rehabilitate northbound SR 99 from PM 0.0 to the Panama Lane Overcrossing at PM 19.5 in Kern County. Work consists of replacing the number 3 lane with continuously reinforced concrete pavement, reconstructing the outside shoulder, replacing panels in lanes where required, and modifying the inside shoulder as needed for traffic handling and staging. Two drainage basins would be deepened by approx 2-3 feet. No additional ROW would be needed.
