Document Description
The proposed project would develop existing surface parking lots with a mixed use development containing undergraduate housing, academic development and a administrative space, community and open space, and underground parking in the west campus of UC San Diego. The project would provide approx. 2,000 new beds and housing support space for undergraduate students. The academic buildings would include approx. 194,000 gsf of general academical support spaces, classrooms/lecture halls, offices, community spaces, residential uses and support spaces, dining, and terraces. An approx. 121,000 gsf building would feature a campus/community craft center, as well as offices and multi-purpose rooms; various dining opportunities, including a market and coffee shop; and retail space.
