Document Description
The proposed project would include improvements along approx 4,700 ft of Donner Pass Rd between I-80 at the Coldstream Rd interchange and Frates Lane/SR 89 South intersection. The improvements would place approx 5,900 lf of new curb, gutter, and sidewalk along Donner Pass Rd on both sides of the street to fill existing gaps in the current sidewalk infrastructure. The improved sidewalks would vary in width from 6-12 ft wide. Select sidewalk segments would include roadside planting strips. Five mid-block crosswalks with median refuge islands along Donner Pass Rd would be constructed. Four of the crossings would be located adjacent to Truckee ES and Truckee HS.
