Amendment to CAWD Sphere of Influence (SOI) and Service Area (SA), including annexation of areas within District's existing SOI and annexation of areas within the proposed SOI and annexation of lands already served under LAFCO-approved "out-of-District" service agreements. The area proposed for additional SOI and annexation is in portions of the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea as well as in unincorporated Monterey County (including areas of lower Carmel Valley and portions of Highway 1 where service is now provided to Point Lobos State Park). New (net) SOI/Annexed area is 3,000 acres.
