Document Description
The project will be the development of a chassis support facility for the distribution, storage and maintenance of chassis used to move cargo containers. The project will support Long Beach Container Terminal operations at Middle Harbor for a period of up to 7 years. The project will be located on a 13.24-acre site in the Northeast Harbor District. The project components will include: ingress and egress gates; on-site truck queuing; administration and staff trailers; on-site parking spaces; and designated areas for chassis storage, chassis maintenance, parts and miscellaneous storage and tire support.
