Document Description
The project is a request for a CUP to legalize an unpermitted outdoor concrete and asphalt crushing, stockpiling and heavy equipment storage yard on approximately 4 acres of a 7 acre parcel in an M-2 (General Manufacturing) zoning district. The project would operate six days a week (Mon-Sat) from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Concrete and asphalt bricks, blocks, and rubble is crushed into usable products, such as road base and aggregate. The crusher will not run continuously, but will only operate during the days and hours listed above. The crusher is mobile and is only permitted by the CA Air Resources Board to operate on the subject site a maximum of 60 days a year. Heavy equipment storage includes construction equipment (mobile concrete crusher, front-end loaders) and agricultural equipment.
