Document Description
Faults in the levees and dam surrounding CCF must be monitored and maintained to protect against failures. If the CCF Dam fails or the West Canal levee breaches, it will compromise the SWP's ability to deliver water to millions of Californians; therefore, ensuring its safe and proper functioning is a high priority for DWR. By installing seepage flow monitoring devices and repairing beaver den damage, this project will help ensure that CCF facilities are safe and fully operational.
