Document Description
The Workplan addresses potential health risk resulting from PCB and copper soil contamination as a result of a fire and/or operation of the facility. Based on careful analysis of the options, excavation and soil removal is recommended to reduce the PCB concentrations to levels protective of human health for onsite workers. After removing the overlying concrete slab, approximately 45 cubic yards or an area 20 feet by 20 feet by 3 feet deep of contaminated soil will be excavated.
