Document Description
Request by Robert Staniec for an amendment to the San Luis Bay (Inland) Area Plan of the Land Use Element by changing the land use category over an area of ~133 acres from Rural Lands (132.4 acres) and Agriculture (0.6 acres) to Residential Rural. A Planning Area Standard is further proposed to establish a minimum parcel size of 40 acres and to prohibit secondary residences. This project will facilitate the subdivision of an existing 92.3 acre parcel into 2 parcels of 43.0 and 49.3 acres, respectively. Under the current land use category, a minimum parcel size of 80 acres would be required due to steep slopes.
