The SJUSD proposes the construction of a new 12 acre elementary school and a new 26 acre middle school together on a 38 acre project site. The schools would be immediately adjacent to each other, but would operate independently and would not generally share facilities. Project development would include the construction of classroom, administrative facilities, support buildings, turf-covered playfields, paved hardcourts, and playground areas.
