The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0112-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Orange County Public Works. The Agreement covers Arundo and non-native species removal activities on hundreds of parcels of County-owned and privately held land, which does not include federal lands (e.g., Department of Defense, United States Department of Agriculture, and United States Forest Service). Lands owned by Rancho Mission Viejo are also not covered.
