Document Description
Allied Imperial Landfill is proposing to expand the existing Municipal Solid Waste Landfill that was permitted by Conditional Use Permit #98-0021, proposing to construct an 89-acre new cell to the West of the existing landfill and to increase the height of the landfill, to meet the existing and future solid waste disposal needs of the County of Imperial and to expand the landfill's life to ~30 years on property. The County Board of Supervisors approved the General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, CUP and Variance at their public hearing with a maximum height of 130- feet for the current landfill and new cell.
