The MND was prepared to examine the potential environmental effects associated with the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the proposed 2,000 sf cogeneration plant at the Marian Medical Center (approximately 2 miles), where the cogeneration plant would be located. The cogeneration facility would consist of an approximately 710 sf 1030 kW Jenbacher engine generator facility, surrounded by masonry wall. The cogeneration plant would produce electricity and heat using landfill gas for generation of electricity at the Marian Medical Center. The property carries the Medical Office Building land use designation and corresponding Public Facilities (PF) zoning district.
