Document Description
Construction and operation of arsenic removal treatment systems on the sites of CVWD Well 6806-1 and Well 7802-1, located in an agricultural area. The purpose of the project is to ensure that well water meets new drinking water quality standards and regulations. Non-hazardous brine would be disposed of to the Santa Ana Regional Interceptor. Non-RCRA hazardous coagulated brine solids would be disposed of at a Class I landfill. Non-hazardous waste would be disposed of at a Class II landfill. The sites contain no biological or cultural resources. Site 7802-1 is across the street from three schools; mitigation measures are provided for construction noise and air quality and use and disposal of hazardous materials.
