Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA # 6-2001-139) pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Pacific Communities Builder, Inc.. The applicant proposes the construction of 230 residential units and one open space lot, which will encompass approximately 54 acres. An unnamed blueline stream, which flows southward via a natural, unlined channel across the northwest corner of the proposed project site for 1,072 linear feet before exiting the site via a 90-inch metal culvert under the Interstate 15 Freeway and ultimately draining into Murrieta Creek, is proposed to be piped below grade at the northern portion of the drainage for a total of 650 feet, which will flow underneath a proposed on-site detention basin and then empty into the proposed open space (the lower portion of the drainage). The project is located in the City of Murrieta in Riverside County.
